Das mit der Gelbfärbung ist anzunehmen, dass es vom Brom kommt. Für alle andere sind die Moleküle eigentlich zu klein

Laut Wikipedia sind Hypobromite relativ instabil. Gehe mal davon aus, dass es entweder durch die charakteristische Färbung von Hypobromit-Ionen stammt, oder es liegt eben an der Reduktion zu elementarem Brom. Oder vorhandenes Bromid wird durch disproportionierung vom Hypobromit zum Bromat zu Brom oxidiert

ClO- + Br- ---> BrO- + Cl-
BrO- + Br- + 2 H+ ---> Br2 + H2O
Ist ja jetzt nicht so, dass Bromdämpfe aufsteigen... aber ich denke die paar Protonen sollten für die geringe Färbung reichen.

Und leider habe ich eben vergessen zu erwähnen, dass der Siedepunkt des Chloroform/Aceton-Azeotrops laut Chemgapedia bei etwa 64,7°C liegt. Ich denke mal, dass ich das Ganze nochmal mit Hypochlorit ausschütteln werde. Das Ethanol müsste dann ja theoretisch auch abreagieren.

Hm... dann mach's ruhig mit dem Hypochlorit und destilliere danach mit Kolonne über CaO.

EDIT: Auch weiterhin besteht das Problem mit der Aussage "häufigste in der Natur auftretende organische Bromverbindung". Diese Aussage ist nicht nachvollziehbar.

...seltsam, alle hersteller von Reinigungsmitteln behaupten da was anderes Ansonsten Stimme ich Dir bei deiner Kritik zu.selbst Chlorbleichlauge ist nicht so dolle für den Ausguss.
